Purpose & Scope :
This position is responsible for but not limited to supporting the Lead Commodity Manager of MRO procurement to help facilitate onboarding of new suppliers, processing of orders, resolution of invoices, updating purchase orders, and contracts.
This position will also be responsible for supporting the commodity managers by investigating AP / AR issues, analyzing data, and following up on supplier issues.
This position will learn the procurement systems and processes for a possible career path to a buyer or commodity manager.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for clerical responsibilities associated with procurement for indirect and direct material, i.e., issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, and resolving payment issues.
Work closely with buying function to ensure placement of orders and address any request for change notices or changes in pricing.
Work with requesters and vendors to close orders when complete.
Includes basic spreadsheet manipulation including formulas and pivot tables.
